Automatic Train Protection System
ATP is a core subsystem, which ensures the safety of train operation and improves efficiency. ATP train control system is designed in accordance with EN 50128 & 50129 ,IEEE1474 and other international standards, and developed with whole-process risk control according to the international safety design and assessment standards for safety-critical systems . The system which has successfully solved key technical problems in the industry such as the high-precision and independent train positioning, large-capacity train-track bidirectional safe information transmission, high-density train tracking and control and high reliable vital computer platforms etcs. This enables the most advanced moving block train tracking with minimum interval,.Under the control of ATP system, trains can realize safe and high-density tracking control and improve the operating efficiency of the rail transportation. The system has been used on Beijing Metro Yizhuang Line and Changping Line, and will be put into operation on Beijing Metro Line 14 and Line 7.
ATP system can realize the functions of ensuring the safety of train operation and passengers as train interval control, over speed protection, temporary speed restriction management, train operation mode management, train doors and Platform Screen Doors monitoring, and can also provide perfect auxiliary operation guide information for the drivers through the man-machine interface (MMI). ATP system provides complete self-diagnosis and records functions, Failure can automatically be located to PCB level.
