1、2008-2009, Chongqing Rail Transit Line 3, Demonstration Line with Highly Modular Subsystems
As the general contractor and system integration provider for the south extension of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 3, and the system provider for the early phase of the Line 3 project, Beijing Traffic Control Technology Co., Ltd. provided the DCS (data communication system), Balise subsystem, onboard MMI subsystem of the CBTC system, and successfully integrated the ATP (automatic train protection)/ATO (automatic train operation), CI (computer interlocking), and ATS (automatic train supervision) subsystems of many suppliers into the CBTC system. Chongqing Rail Transit Line 3 is about 60 km in length with a total of 46 stations. As the subcontractor for the first and second phases of the project, Beijing Traffic Control Technology Co., Ltd. was responsible for providing the track-train radio communication system, MMI and Balise subsystem of the CBTC signal system. The south extension of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 3 is an important part of the rail transit network for the main urban area in Chongqing, which is 16.531 km in length and has 10 stations.
2、2011-2014,Beijing Metro Line 14, a large-capacity metro line in Beijing urban area
Beijing Metro Line 14, connecting the northeast and the southwest, is an L-shaped backbone line in the Beijing rail network. BJ L14 is designed to have large capacity, and is 47.30 km in length with 36 stations, 14 of which are transfer stations. It is planned to operate 63 trains on the line at the early stage. The project was launched on December 31, 2011 by formal contract signing. The first phase of the project is 13 km in length and will be opened on March 28, 2013. The full-featured CBTC system of the whole line will be opened for trial operation by the end of December 2014.
As the general contractor and System intergrator for the signal system project of Beijing Line 14, Beijing Traffic Control Technology Co., Ltd. provides the CBTC signal system with LCF-300 ATP/ATO at the core, which includes ATP/ATO, DCS, and MSS (maintenance support system) subsystems, and integrates ATS/CI, power supply system and axle counting system from outsourcing. Meanwhile, as the technology provider, TCT is fully responsible for signal system design, SI management, safety management, integration testing, debugging, as well as the general management on various kinds of outsourcing works.
Currently, BJ L14 project is at the stage of implementation. The overall planning of the project, detailed design, project design, production, purchasing, supplies, and factory audit have been completed, and the on-site work has been launched comprehensively.
3、2012-2014, Beijing Metro Line 7, a line with a localization rate over 90%
Beijing Metro Line 7 is 23.65 km in length with 21 stations and a running speed up to 80 km/h. BJ L7 is planned to open for trial operation with passengers on December 30, 2014. It is a main traffic artery with multiple stations, small train interval, high density, and large passenger flows. The localization rate of all devices on the line could reach 90%.
As the general contractor and system integrator for the signal system project of BJ L7, Beijing Traffic Control Technology Co., Ltd. provides the CBTC signal system with LCF-300 ATP/ATO at the core, which includes ATP/ATO, ATS, DCS, and MSS subsystems, and integrates the CI subsystem, power supply system and axle counting system from outsourcing. Meanwhile, as the technology provider, the company is fully responsible for various technology performance indicators and overall safety of the system.
1、2009 to 2010, TCT provided the ATP/ATO subsystem for Beijing Metro Yizhuang Line CBTC project.
Beijing Matro Yizhuang Line links the downtown to Yizhuang Economic Development Zone. BJ YZ line with a total length of 23.23km and 14 stations. it was opened for revenue service officially on December 30, 2010 with a total running time of 33 mimutes. Beijing Yizhuang Line applied the Chinese domestic CBTC technology independently-developed by Beijing Traffic Control Technology Co., Ltd. , and the line became the pilot project for Chinese signaling technology. As the core equipment supplier of signal system for Beijing Yizhuang Line, TCT undertook the overall responsibility for the system design, the core system providing and safety management, the system integration test, site test and dynamic testing in the trial operation. When the Line was opened, all the train automatic control functions are achieved such as moving block, automatic train protection, automatic train operation, automatic train supervision, train and platform screen door / safety door linkage, and automatic turn-back. Under the technical support by TCT, Beijing Yizhuang Line became the first domestic line to perform all functions of the train control system when it was opened. The 90-second design headway and 2.5 minutes operation headway was achieved through the TCT’s CBTC core system. Since its opening, the trains travel speed is more than 40km/h, and the signal system operation is safe, stable, reliable, easy to maintain with high availability. The system stability is better than other lines; so far no failure had occurred to the signal system equipment to affect the train’s normal operation.
2、2009 to 2010, TCT provided the ATP/ATO subsystem for Beijing Metro Changping Line CBTC signaling project.
Beijing Changping Line , a total length of 31.24km ,as a north-south passenger rapid rail line linking the downtown to Changping New City. The first phase of Changping Line was open for revenue service on December 30, 2010 with a total length of 21km and 7 stations. As the core equipment supplier of CBTC signal system for Beijing Changping Line, TCT implemented the entire system in two stages in order to meet the characteristics of Changping Line and opening target at the same time. In the end of 2010, achieveing the functions of ATS, interlocking, fixed block-based ATP systems, and up to the end of 2013, updating the system to the radio communication moving block system and the fully automatic driverless operation system, By that time, the radio communication moving block signaling system for the entire Changping Line will have been fulfilled. The signal system devices supplied by TCT cover the automatic train protection sub-system (ATP), the automatic train operation sub-system (ATO), the zone controller sub-system (ZC), the data storage unit sub-system (DSU), and the data communication sub-system (DCS). Since the line was open to traffic, the train’s punctuality rate was 99.91%, the train stopping accuracy within 0.5m is 100%, and no fault endangering operation safety has occurred.
1、1998 to 2001，TCT provided 60 sets of ATP on-board equipments for Beijing Metro Line 2.
Beijing Metro Line 2 was opened for revenue service in the end of 1987. The local control system equipments were applied for the line at that time. From 1998-2001, TCT undertook the on-board equipments revamping project in the line to provide 60 sets of on-board ATP equipments with compatibility with existing wayside equipments. As a local signal equipment manufacturer, the TCT reduced the overall project duration by shortened the delivery cycle and increased the efficiency. The customer needs were fulfilled.
2、2001 to 2002，TCT provided 30 sets of ATP on-board equipments for Beijing Metro Line 1
Beijing Metro Line 1 is the first metro line in Beijing, and its construction started in 1965. With the line extension, Beijing Metro Line 1 developed gradually into a line with the total length of 31km and 26 stations. In 2001, TCT assumed that the on-board equipments revamping project to provide 18 sets of on-board protection equipments, with compatibility with existing wayside equipments. At the same time the software was upgraded and its train protection system was improved significantly, which provided conditions for the late vehicle increases. As a domestic signal equipment manufacturer, TCT shortened the delivery cycle, improved service response time and met the customer needs.
3、2007 to 2008，TCT provided 20 sets of ATP on-board equipments for Beijing Metro Batong Line
Beijing Metro Batong Line is the eastern extension of Beijing line 1 with 18.96 km and 13 stations. It was opened for revenue service in the end of 2003. In order to meet the transport capacity requirement for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, transport capacity improvement and expansion and vehicle modification were carried out in the Batong Line. The original vehicles of 24 sets of 4-car-train were expaned to 6-car-train. With the on-board equipments modification experience for Metro Line 1 and 2, TCT provided 20 sets of on-board ATP equipments for the Batong Line modification project, which effectively met the requirements of transport capacity improvement and expansion and vehicle modification in Batong Line. Therefore the devices modification project was completed before the 2008 Olympic Games.
4、2004 to 2005，TCT provided 72 sets of ATP onboard equipments for Dalian Light Rail Line 3.
Dalian Light Rail Line 3 is the backbone of the rail transit network in Dalian with a total length of 63.45 km and 20 stations. The line started its operation officially on May 1, 2003. In order to meet the requirement of increasing passenger flow, Dalian Light Rail introduced a total of 36 sets of train, and TCT provided 72 sets of on-board train protection equipments for them, which meet the customer requirements arising from increase in vehicle and shorten headway.
